Family-owned and operated, Circle M Ranch offers an intimate look into the history and terrain of some of Maui’s most remote areas. With morning and afternoon trail rides, guests will be treated to a horseback ride to the edge of Waiheʻe Valley and along Maui’s coastline. Perfect for families, couples, groups of friends, and solo adventurers, and no experience is necessary!

Departing daily from the Circle M Ranch Corral, guests will be perfectly paired with a horse that fits their size and level of experience before hitting the trail. Staff members have decades of experience in horseback riding on Maui and are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. You can tell they love their job and want to share the beauty of Maui with each and every guest.
Morning or Afternoon
Choose from one of two daily trail rides, either the morning or afternoon tour, and be treated to spectacularly scenic views overlooking Maui’s coastline, the West Maui Mountains, and Waiheʻe Valley.
Incredible Views
Be sure to bring your camera, wear plenty of sunscreen, and enjoy an exciting day exploring Maui on horseback! You’ll be riding with unparalleled views of north and central Maui. Galloping is allowed for riders who wish to try it out, and guides are happy to snap photos of your journey along the ride. This is a truly unique Maui activity.

Schedule and Duration: | Check-in begins at 8:45 a.m. with a briefing and mounting from 9:00-9:30 a.m. The ride lasts from 9:30-11:00 a.m., covering scenic valleys, meadows, and coastal cliffs. |

Safety and Physical Requirements: | Riders must be physically fit and able to mount a horse independently, with a maximum weight limit of 240 pounds. No refunds are given if unable to meet these requirements. |
Guided Experience: | Experienced paniolos guide riders of all skill levels, sharing knowledge of the land’s history while navigating the beautiful terrain. |
