More about this activity
Kapalua is home to some of the most stunning views on Maui. What if you could see those views from high above the treetops at 55 mph? That is just what this Kapalua zipline is offering. Race along 2 miles of cable side-by-side and experience breathtaking views, exhilarating speeds, and ATV rides!
Satisfy your adventurous side and see Maui from the unique perspective of a zipline.
Ziplining began in the ’70s in Costa Rica when rainforest researchers did not want to disturb the vast wildlife that exists on the ground of the forest. They built platforms and attached cables to trees so that they could move around the forest with the smallest footprint possible. Although researching in the rainforest is serious business, it’s hard not to smile when you are flying through the treetops like a bird.
This same intention is applied to ziplining tourism today. It is one of the best ways to tour a part of the world without leaving anything permanent behind. No need to dig up trees or bring in big equipment to make a facility. See the land in its natural state without making a lasting impact on that land.
Some notes from our Kapalua Zipline experience:
- Side-by-side lines at every station (Let’s Race!)
- Longest suspension bridge in the state of Hawaii
- 2 miles of total zipping
- Epic ATV rides through the rainforest
- Pristine views
