The Show
Focusing on the Pacific Islands as a whole, this luau offers a blend of both the culture and history of Polynesia through song, dance, and food. Guests are invited to join in lei-making activities, hula lessons, and photo opportunities with the cast. As the sun sets, the torches are lit and the imu ceremony begins, where the roasted pig is unearthed from the underground oven. In addition to a variety of Polynesian songs and dances, this luau closes with the exciting and dangerous Samoan fire knife dance. This event runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Luau Dinner

This was shot on a rainy day, and we’re grateful they had an alternate covered location on property to complete the luau. Still on the ocean and open-air. Loved it!

The highlight of this evening was undoubtedly the fire-throwing performance. We were treated to an amazing show that included traditional warriors wielding blazing fore sticks! Throughout the performance, they demonstrated their skill and strength while performing daring stunts. Though my buddy dug the food, it wasn’t for me. Otherwise, it’d be 5 stars.

It’s safe to say that this evening at Kona Oceanfront Luau will be remembered for many years to come! It provided us with an unforgettable combination of traditional Hawaiian entertainment, mouth-watering cuisine, and breathtaking scenery – making it one of the best things I’ve done in Hawaii!

The Kona Luau is an incredible time. The luau began with traditional island music and hula performances, moved to simply delicious, local delicacies finished by fire dance performances. What’s not to like? Thank you very much.

Thank you so much for making our evening extra special! You took care of my kids better to the point where I felt like a king. I guess that’s how you Hawaiians do it, huh? That’s what this “ALOHA” word is all about. Thank you again. We’ll come back and your luau with everyone we can.
