Maʻalaea Sunset Dinner Cruise

Maalaea Dinner Cruise Harbor AerialOne of Maui’s most popular ocean activities that require no swimsuit, no fins, and no SPF, a Maʻalaea Sunset Dinner Cruise provides guests with a romantic and memorable night on the water.

Located only a short drive from Kihei at Maalaea Harbor, this tour company hosts adventures aboard their double-decker catamaran. An ideal tour option for couples, friend groups, wedding parties, or simply as a celebratory night out, Maui sunset dinner cruises provide epic views of Maui’s scenic shoreline, beaches, neighbor islands of Lanaʻi and Kahoʻolawe, and sweeping views of the West Maui Mountains, Molokini, and Haleakala Volcano.

With outdoor seating and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the views, the cruise also features a delectable feast. With help from knowledgeable and friendly staff members, you’ll be treated to menu items like rosemary garlic roasted prime rib, locally caught island fish, and freshly baked banana bread. Vegan and gluten-free meal options are available on request.

Choose from complimentary beverages like tropical cocktails, local Maui beer, and wine varieties, as well as non-alcoholic options like soda, juice, water, coffee, and tea.

Departing at 5 pm or 6 pm depending on the season, certified Marine Naturalists will be onboard to answer questions and provide further insight into Maui’s ocean life. During the winter months, this sunset dinner cruise also doubles as an excellent whale watching opportunity, as Maui’s part-time resident humpback whale population is known to frequent the ʻAuʻau Channel – located just between Maui’s west coast and Lanaʻi – for its warm, shallow waters.

Lasting approximately 2 hours, it’s recommended that you check into our PacWhale Ocean Store in the Maalaea Harbor Shops 45 minutes prior to departure to your tour, and bring a light jacket, your ID, and cash or a credit card for gratuity or souvenirs. All ages are welcome.

Quelle romance! My husband and I just went on your dinner cruise and LOVED IT! I was swept away in the experience! drinks on the water with the sun setting, tasty food, and we met a few really nice people that we’ll likely spend time with again before we leave. What a fantastic job you did! Thank you so much!

  2. Dr. Ho

I miss this. We were supposed to be with you in July, but you know what’s going on… Bummer to miss out on our trip. I think we’ll be back next year, but we don’t know when. This was our favorite night during our 2019 trip. I can feel the warm breeze just thinking about it. Thank you and we’ll get back as soon as we can. OPEN UP PLEASE!

  3. Laura Thompson

They outdid themselves on our cruise! Great food! Can’t wait to come back to Maui. We needed this soooo badly.

  4. J Marsh

I wasn’t planning on doing this one till I heard that Three’s did the catering. LOVE their food! they grill everything onboard. It was great! Thanks again.

  6. James Staggs

    very good thank you.

  7. Bruce Williams

Each dish was very good, I think as good as some of the best restaurants we’ve been to here so far. I won’t be doing it again this trip, as my wife prefers land. But that being said, if we come with a group next time, I’ll talk a few others into joining me. The sunset wasn’t as good as the first 2 we’ve had from the beach, but can’t really fault you for that one.
