We did this Most Affordable Maui Whale Watch tour (on the Quicksilver), which was the best price I found. We stayed in Kihei at a condo so Maalaea wasn’t too far. I would recommend this for sure!

THIS WAS INCREDIBLE!!! All around us were whales up close. The captain pointed out each pod as we spotted them using the clock method and teaching us all about their behaviors and habits. I got some amazing photos but my videos didn’t come out great. I kept missing the beginning of breaches. That was the only downer.

We got 6 on this raft and there were others on the raft, but it never felt crowded. I’ve been on a whale watch in Maui before and it was on a big boat with too many heads in the way. I could always see the whales cuase it was a raft.
