Polynesian Cultural Center
Located on the northern side of Oahu in Laie, the sprawling Polynesian Cultural Center is known for being the #1 paid attraction in Hawaii. This 42-acre park is a one-stop shop for visitors interested in learning about the cultures of the Pacific. The Polynesian Cultural Center is home to six different villages representing individual island nations and cultures, including Tonga, Tahiti, Fiji, Aotearoa, Samoa, and Hawaii. The park is also home to a meandering river where guests can ride in a canoe, an evening luau and buffet, and the live production of Hā, The Breath of Life.

This experience offers a range of packages to choose from to custom tailor your day at the Polynesian Cultural Center. The VIP Package includes a lei greeting, admission to the park and luau, special seating at all events, a backstage tour at Hā, and much more. Other packages include entrance to the park’s award-winning Aliʻi Luau or Gateway Buffet dinner, with special access to the center’s six villages and the Hā show.
Aliʻi Luau & Gateway Buffet
In a park dedicated to Hawaiian and Polynesian culture, one can expect that the evening luau is top-notch. At least, that’s the case when it comes to the Polynesian Cultural Center’s Aliʻi Luau. The Aliʻi Luau shares the songs, sights, dances, and food from across Polynesia. This all-you-can-eat buffet boasts countless traditional fares, from imu roasted pig to poi. Alternatively, the Gateway Buffet serves as another dinner option. The Gateway Buffet is the park’s most popular dinner option and boasts delectable entrees like a whole grilled Kanpachi as well as live music.
HĀ, The Breath Of Life
The Polynesian Cultural Center is also home to a 2,770-seat amphitheater that hosts the stunning production, Hā, Breath of Life. The show tells the emblematic story of Mana and his upbringing, accentuated by Polynesian song, dance, and fire knives. The show also features an ensemble of 100 Polynesian performers.
