Hyatt Luau – Drums of The Pacific
If you’re intrigued by traditional Polynesian music and dancing, this West Maui luau staple is one of the most entertaining you’ll find on Maui. Combining styles from Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, Tahiti, Tonga, New Zealand, and Rarotonga, guests will love the beautiful setting on the Sunset Terrace, as well as the exotic feast, fire-knife dance finale, and delicious cocktails. Held only steps from the award-winning Kaʻanapali Beach, sit back and prepare for an evening of Hawaii-style entertainment at Maui’s longest-running luau.
Feast at Lele Luau Review
*Unfortunately, the Feast At Lele Luau site was devastated by the Lahaina fires of August 2023, and it will be some time before we get to enjoy one of Maui’s most beloved luaus again. We will provide updates as they become available.
Feast At Lele Luau
The ancient name for Lahaina, Lele, is indeed a feast! From the creators of Old Lahaina Luau and PacificʻO Restaurant, guests at this luau will be treated to a 5 course, sit-down dinner from the Pacific Island nations of Tahiti, Aotearoa, Samoa, and of course, Hawaii. Once the playground for Maui’s Aliʻi, or royalty, guests will enjoy amazing cuisine, exotic entertainment, and stunning views at this intimate luau experience. Located conveniently in the heart of Lahaina Town, the Feast at Lele is within walking distance of West Maui’s famed Banyan Tree Park.
*Unfortunately, the Atlantis Maui Submarine is closed until further notice due to the effects of the Lahaina fires in August 2023.
If you love the idea of exploring Maui’s underwater world without actually having to get wet, we encourage you to check out the views from a Maui Submarine! Located conveniently off the shores of West Maui, guests will take a quick boat ride from Lahaina Harbor to arrive at the submarine before descending to depths of 100+ feet below the surface. Enjoy fun commentary from entertaining and knowledgeable guides, as well as stunning views of the Carthaginian replica shipwreck, its artificial reef, and surrounding marine life, and maybe even scuba divers! This is a perfect half-day activity for the whole family. Do you prefer this experience at the surface? Check out the Maui Glass Bottom Boat.

Maui Horseback Riding
While the majority of travelers probably don’t think of horseback riding when they think of adventures in the Aloha State, it’s actually one of the best land activities on Maui and a great way to experience the stunning panoramic views of the island. Family-owned and operated, Circle M Ranch offers an intimate look into the history and terrain of some of Maui’s most remote areas. With morning and afternoon trail rides, guests will be treated to a horseback ride to the edge of Waiheʻe Valley and along Maui’s coastline. Perfect for families, couples, groups of friends, and solo adventurers, and no experience is necessary!
