Haleakala rises 10,023 feet above the ocean surface with a massive volcanic depression that could fit the entire island of Manhattan. Our East Maui Volcano is a very popular place to visit for sunrise, which has been deemed the “house of the sun.” Forming over 75% of the island of Maui, Haleakala offers many fun things to do.

At lower elevation, the temperatures are a bit warmer and you still get incredible views. This area is called Upcountry.
