More about this activity
Molokini Crater
Molokini Crater is one of the world’s most unique snorkeling destinations and is high on the list of Maui must-dos. Located off of Maui’s south coast, this crescent-shaped crater rises from the deep to form a natural marine preserve, home to an array of corals, tropical fish, manta rays, and even the occasional reef shark. In the winter months, you might even be able to spot a few whales from the boat!
Performance Sailing
Departing out of the blustery Ma’alaea Harbor, the 47-foot Paragon II uses Maui’s consistent tradewinds to their advantage. Here you’ll enjoy a leisurely morning sail through Ma’alaea Bay as you make your way towards Molokini Crater. The Paragon II comes equipped with a freshwater shower to rinse off after snorkeling, and snorkel gear, floatation, and reef-safe sunscreen are provided onboard.
Breakfast & Lunch
Both breakfast and lunch are provided on this tour. Enjoy a continental breakfast on the sail to Molokini, and a full buffet lunch after snorkeling. A variety of beverages are provided as well, including wine and local beer.

Thank you for showing me this impressive natural phenomenon! I’ve seen photos for years, and now I can say I’ve snorkeled at this beautiful spot. I saw humus, lots of black fish, an octopus and coral. SO pretty!
