MAUI GOLF & SPORTS PARK

If you have kids in tow during your next Maui vacation, pencil in some Maui mini golf at Maui Golf and Sports Park. This family-fun oasis is located in the windswept village of Maʻalaea, conveniently nestled between Kihei, Wailuku, and Lahaina. The park features two 18-hole mini-golf courses, a bumper boat arena, a rock climbing wall, and a bungee trampoline. Whether your kids need to let off some steam or you’re just eager for a break from the beach, Maui Golf and Sports Park is the ideal place to create fun memories with your family.

ACTIVITIES

Bumper Boats

The bumper boats at Maui Golf and Sports Park are arguably the park’s biggest allure. The park features a 4,000-square-foot lava rock lagoon, where guests can pilot one of ten electrically powered bumper boats. Chaos and fun go hand in hand here, as drivers race and collide with other boats— not unlike bumper cars. Two waterfalls and an island in the center of the lagoon make for fun obstacles. Meanwhile, the bumper boats are outfitted with high-powered water guns, so be prepared to get wet! You too, spectators. Ages four and up can pilot their own boats. Each session runs for 10 minutes.

Maui Mini Golf

There are two 18-hole mini-golf courses on offer here— the Lanai course and the Molokai course. Both courses feature unique challenges like loop-de-loops and play-through volcanoes and are beautifully landscaped with tropical plants, streams, ponds, and footbridges. The Molokai course is more challenging than the Lanai course, but mini golf is unlimited at the park, so guests can take all the time they need to complete each course.

Rock Climbing Wall

The park’s 25-foot rock climbing pinnacle appeals to adventurous kiddos and parents alike! There are four walls to choose from, ranging from easy to difficult. Climbers are entirely strapped in with an auto-belay system to catch them should they slip. Ages four and up are welcome to climb.

Bungee Trampoline

If you’ve ever driven past Maui Golf and Sports Park, you’ve likely seen people soaring close to the tops of the palm trees on the bungee trampoline. Keep it mellow and practice your flips or see how high you can go. The bungee harness can accommodate persons between 40 and 150 pounds. Jumps last five minutes.
